We’re all for breaking the rules, but these we must insist on.
Because Humans Designing hosts our workshops on Instagram, we follow Instagram’s policies to the letter.
For workshop attendees under the age of 13:
Instagram requires everyone to be at least 13 years old before they can create an account (in some jurisdictions, this age limit may be higher). Accounts that represent someone under the age of 13 must clearly state in the account’s bio that the account is managed by a parent or manager. Read more here.
Humans Designing requires all participants under 13 to access the workshops through an account set up for them by a caregiver, and which clearly states that it is managed by that caregiver. We require all accounts to be registered with the workshop first so that we can be certain that only approved attendees are admitted.
Community Guidelines
All users must follow Instagram’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
Privacy and Security of Workshops
All workshops will use a unique Instagram account profile set to private. We require all accounts to be registered with the workshop first so that we can be certain that only approved attendees are admitted. We take the privacy and security of all attendees very seriously, and will not admit anyone who has not met the pre-enrollment qualifications.
Rights to Workshop Content
Humans Designing has the right to record all live workshop sessions. Humans Designing owns the rights to share all workshop content including student work and video content to its channels after the workshop event for educational and marketing purposes.
